Caroline Davies Choi - Curation & Creative Services

Caroline Davies Choi is an Arts Professional with 20+ years in the arts industry, with a BA(Hons) in Art History and Curatorship (ANU) with a BSc major in Conservation of Cultural Materials (UC).

“I have broad industry experience in government and private art and collecting institutions, including The National Gallery of Australia, The Australian National University, The Australian War Memorial, Art Viet Nam (Ha Noi), Mai Gallery (Ha Noi), and The National Trust (UK). I am well versed in curatorial duties, exhibition design and collection management, report and policy writing.

I received First Class Honours for my Honours Dissertation on Melbourne printmaker George Baldessin and was awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award to undertake my PhD on dissident art in Viet Nam. I lived, worked and researched in Viet Nam for nearly 4 years, also attending intensive language training at Viet Nam National University.

I later trained at the Fashion Design Studio, Sydney, specialising in textile design and screen-printing, and have run my own textile design and screen-printing studio for several years.”
